James and Paula Coburn FoundationBlessed with good health and fortune, Lynda strongly believes in giving back to the local, national, and international community. Both personally and through THE Artist Agency, Erkiletian supports a variety of non-profit organizations. In addition to being a twenty-five year member and former board member of Fashion Group International (FGI) of Greater Washington D.C., she is also the founder of the annual community outreach program, Beauty Within. Established to assist the hundreds of women residing in shelters throughout the metropolitan area, Beauty Within collects, assembles, and distributes a personalized Mother’s Day gift bag filled with generously donated beauty products to ladies who would otherwise go without.

The James and Paula Coburn Foundation

In 2004, tragedy struck when Lynda lost her best friend Paula Coburn to cancer. To honor her, Erkiletian became the Executive Director of the James and Paula Coburn Foundation (JPCF), a 501(c)3 charitable trust operating from Los Angeles, California.

This private foundation supports charitable organizations devote to the arts and sciences while sustaining and developing the James and Paula Coburn’s legacy as bequeathed to the LA Philharmonic, the LA County Museum of Art, KCET Community Television, the Motion Picture and Television Fund, Operation Smile and Men Against Breast Cancer. The JPCF also supports charities involved in the conduct of treatments or cures for cancer, or dedicated to the care of indigent cancer patients.

Since its inception, the JPCF has been committed to upholding the Coburn’s dedication to local and international advancement through music, art, education, physical health, and spiritual well being.
